Product characteristics — termPIR® OSB AL OSB

termPIR® OSB AL OSB is a sandwich board with the structure: OSB / adhesive / Al-PIR-Al / adhesive / OSB. OSB boards of 8–22 mm adhesively bonded on both sides of the PIR core (itself faced on both sides with Al+paper) form a rigid composite with load-bearing capacity on both sides. Both OSB facings allow fixing of elements from either side of the partition — both from the interior and the exterior. Acoustic performance of the composite: 26(0,-2) dB; fire resistance in the OSB 8/PIR AL 160/OSB 8 assembly: EI 15.

Declared λD of PIR core = 0.022 W/(m·K); λ of OSB layer = 0.13 W/(m·K). The RD values account for both OSB layers. Format exclusively 1200×2500 mm.

Applications

  • Pitched roofs over-rafter — rigid board with ready sheathing on the external side (counter-battens) and finish on the interior (ceiling) without separate boarding
  • Pitched roofs under-rafter — under-rafter insulation with OSB as substrate for ceiling finish and exterior fixing
  • Internal wall insulation (adhesive and mechanical) — board bonded or dowelled; OSB on room side as ready substrate for framework and plasterboard
