termPIR® AGRO P REV
Product characteristics — termPIR® AGRO P REV
termPIR® AGRO P REV is an insulation board with a PIR core of density 30 kg/m³, covered on both sides with an Al+PE laminate (Agro P) in reversed orientation — the aluminium layer faces the PIR core and polyethylene is on the outside. The abbreviation REV (reversed) refers to this inverted configuration. The outer polyethylene is chemically inert in contact with cement and fresh concrete — unlike standard Al/PE facings where aluminium on the outside corrodes in an alkaline environment.
Declared λD = 0.022 W/(m·K) across the full range 20–250 mm. Compressive strength ≥ 120 kPa. Fire reaction class F (uninstalled).
Applications
- Prefabricated concrete walls — insulation built into sandwich panels at factory; PE outward prevents Al corrosion from concrete
- Loft insulation — as a λ = 0.022 option where mechanical facing resistance is required
- Floor on ground — high compressive strength ≥120 kPa allows direct screed application
Benefits for designers and contractors
- Reversed facing orientation — PE outward tolerates contact with the alkaline environment of cement and concrete
- λ = 0.022 same as termPIR® AL — full insulation performance without compromise
- Keymark + EPD Type III — documentation required in tenders and green projects
- Identical thickness range to AL — easy substitution in prefabrication projects without recalculation
- 3 edge profiles — FIT, LAP, TAG for various encasement methods in prefabricated elements
- Compressive strength ≥120 kPa — stability under concrete load during casting
Certificates and approvals
- CE — European quality mark
- EN 13165+A2, EN 13172 — product standards
- EPD Type III — Environmental Product Declaration
- Keymark — independent CEN quality mark
- PZH hygiene certificate — hygienic safety
- DoP No. termPIR/P-Rev/2 (updated 30.01.2025)
