insPIRe® D MAX

Roof PIR sandwich panel with deep trapezoid and modified core — λD 0.020, BROOF, min. pitch 3°.

insPIRe® D MAX

insPIRe® D MAX

Product description

insPIRe® D MAX is a roof sandwich panel with a modified polyisocyanurate core with conductivity λD = 0.020 W/(m·K) — 9% lower than the standard D series (0.022). An upgraded variant of the standard D series, keeping the deep trapezoidal profile on the external steel facing for high load capacity and rigidity on purlin assemblies. Minimum roof pitch is 3° (5.2%), making the product suitable for near-flat roofs. The product has passed BROOF evaluation for external fire. AVCP level 1 certification.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Large facing profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant applied during the production process
  • Chamber preventing capillary water uptake
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant maintaining high thermal insulation. Applied during the production process
  • Aluminium foil preventing water vapour ingress into the polyisocyanurate foam core

Applications

  • flat and pitched roofs of industrial and warehouse halls
  • production hall roofs with enhanced thermal insulation requirements
  • roofs of buildings requiring lower U at the same thickness

Benefits for designers and contractors

  • λD 0.020 — 9% better than standard D — thinner panel at the same thermal resistance or lower U at the same thickness
  • Trapezoidal external profiling — high load capacity and rigidity, possibility of wider purlin spacings
  • BROOF — external fire requirements met for commercial and industrial building roofs
  • AVCP 1 certification — documented performance properties, required for large orders
  • 5 thickness configurations — 80/120 up to 160/200 mm (trapezoid/flat) for the full U-value spectrum
  • Min. pitch 3° — use on near-flat industrial roofs
