termPIR® AGRO AL CEIL | BOKKA
Product characteristics — termPIR® AGRO AL CEIL
termPIR® AGRO AL CEIL (CEIL from the English ceiling) is an insulation board with a PIR core covered on both sides with 50 µm aluminium foil — identical to that used in termPIR® AGRO AL. The key difference versus AGRO AL: the CEIL variant carries a fire reaction classification of B-s2,d0 in the end-use ceiling application, which is a requirement for suspended ceilings in buildings with enhanced fire safety requirements (industrial, logistics, livestock). The standalone board (uninstalled) has class D-s2,d0; class B-s2,d0 is achieved in the final suspended ceiling assembly.
Declared λD = 0.022 W/(m·K); compressive strength ≥ 120 kPa (50–250 mm).
Applications
- Washable suspended ceilings in livestock buildings — poultry houses, pig houses, cattle sheds; ammonia + high humidity environment; regular pressure washing; class B-s2,d0 required
- Ceilings in industrial and logistics facilities — production halls, cold storage, processing plants — where B-s2,d0 ceiling fire classification is required by the design or insurer
- Washable ceilings in residential and commercial applications — e.g. swimming pools, industrial kitchens
Benefits for designers and contractors
- B-s2,d0 in ceiling application — fire requirements for ceilings met without additional measures
- Higher rating than AGRO AL in suspended ceiling assembly — AGRO AL does not carry the B class in end-use
- Washable 50 µm Al foil — withstands disinfectants and pressure washing
- Sd = 1500 m — high vapour resistance eliminates condensation within the core
- Compressive strength ≥120 kPa — mechanical stability in suspended assembly
- GRYFIT LAB/Fires and ICiMB certifications — fire classifications from accredited bodies
- Full thickness range 20–250 mm — flexible thermal performance selection
Certificates and approvals
- CE — European quality mark
- EN 13165+A2, EN 13172 — product standards
- ITB fire tests — fire properties
- GRYFIT LAB/Fires fire resistance classifications — fire resistance
- ICiMB fire reaction classification — B-s2,d0 in end-use
- DoP No. termPIR/AgroAL-Ceil/2/ (updated 29.08.2024)
