Product description

insPIRe® CH MAX is the cold storage version of the modified MAX series, combining a low core lambda λD = 0.019 W/(m·K) — 14% lower than standard PIR — with a thickness range tuned to industrial refrigeration. Compared to the CH version, it delivers better insulation at the same thickness or allows a thinner cross-section while maintaining the required thermal resistance. Class B-s1,d0 with fire resistance EI 30 / EW 30 (for thicknesses ≥ 120 mm) meets the requirements for industrial facilities. Available in two modular widths: 1000 and 1140 mm. Thicknesses 100–200 mm cover the full refrigeration spectrum — from fruit cold stores to deep-freeze food chambers. AVCP level 1 certification.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Sealant applied on site
  • Large lock profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Double lock joining the panels ensuring high fire-tightness performance
  • Labyrinth core joint eliminating thermal bridge
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties

Applications

  • walls and ceilings of cold stores (temperature above 0°C)
  • walls and ceilings of freezers (temperature below 0°C)
  • refrigeration facilities with enhanced thermal insulation requirements

Benefits for designers and contractors

  • λD 0.019 — best in the PIR cold storage series — 14% better insulation vs. standard CH 0.022
  • Thinner wall at the same U — saves space in existing buildings or reduces thickness in new construction
  • EI 30 / EW 30 at ≥ 120 mm — confirmed fire resistance for cold storage partitions
  • Two module widths — 1000 and 1140 mm for flexibility in panel layout design
  • AVCP 1 certification — documented properties, required by some refrigeration insurers
  • Factory PUS sealant — minimised thermal bridging at joints, critical for refrigeration
