insPIRe® S MAX

Product description

insPIRe® S MAX is a wall sandwich panel with a polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core in the exposed-fixing version, available in a narrower thickness range: 80, 100 and 120 mm. Produced in 1000 and 1140 mm modules, designed for buildings requiring higher thermal insulation than the standard S series. Core lambda 0.019 W/(m·K) delivers Ud,s values of 0.24–0.16 W/m²K. Factory PUS sealant in the GS-Lock joint eliminates the need for site sealing. Fire resistance EI 30 is confirmed only for the 120 mm thickness.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Large lock profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Double lock joining the panels ensuring high fire-tightness performance
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant maintaining high thermal insulation. Applied during the production process
  • Aluminium foil preventing water vapour ingress into the polyurethane foam core

Applications

  • external walls in industrial and commercial construction
  • buildings requiring higher thermal performance than the standard S series

Benefits for designers and contractors

  • Narrower thickness range in the MAX series — 80–120 mm matched to typical industrial requirements
  • Ud,s 0.16 W/m²K at 120 mm — high thermal efficiency at moderate thickness
  • EI 30 at 120 mm — confirmed by fire testing, applicable in fire separation zones
  • Factory PUS sealant — joint airtightness without additional site sealing work
  • Two module widths — 1000 and 1140 mm for design flexibility
  • EPD Type III — transparent environmental declaration for LEED/BREEAM projects
