Product description

insPIRe® D is a roof sandwich panel with a polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core at λD = 0.022 W/(m·K), with a deep trapezoidal profile on the external steel facing. The trapezoidal profiling delivers high load capacity and rigidity at minimal mass, allowing wider purlin spacings. Minimum roof pitch is 3° (5.2%) — suitable for near-flat and pitched roofs of industrial buildings. Fire reaction class B-s1,d0 and BROOF classification (external fire) meet requirements for typical industrial and commercial facilities.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Large facing profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant applied during the production process
  • Chamber preventing capillary water uptake
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant maintaining high thermal insulation. Applied during the production process
  • Aluminium foil preventing water vapour ingress into the polyisocyanurate foam core

Applications

  • flat and pitched roofs of industrial halls
  • roofs of logistics warehouses and distribution centres
  • roofs of commercial and service buildings

Benefits for designers and contractors

  • Trapezoidal external profiling — high load capacity and rigidity at low weight, possibility of wider purlin spacings
  • Complete roof system — thermal insulation + covering + internal facing in a single element
  • λD 0.022 — among the lowest in class — smaller thickness for the same thermal resistance vs. mineral wool
  • Min. pitch 3° — wide application on industrial roofs with low slope
  • BROOF + REI 30 — fire requirements met for commercial and industrial building roofs
  • EN 14509 certificate — documented performance properties
  • LEED & BREEAM Green Card — qualification for environmental certification
