insPIRe® U MAX

PIR wall panel with concealed fixing and modified core — λD 0.019, Ud,s 0.14 W/m²K at 140 mm.

insPIRe® U MAX

insPIRe® U MAX

Product description

insPIRe® U MAX stands out among GOR-STAL PIR wall panels through its modified polyisocyanurate core with conductivity λD = 0.019 W/(m·K) — 14% lower than standard PIR (0.022). Combined with concealed fixing and the GS-Lock joint with factory PUS sealant, the panel offers an optimal mix of thermal efficiency, airtightness and facade aesthetics. At 140 mm thickness it delivers Ud,s = 0.14 W/m²K, matching the requirements of energy-efficient buildings. AVCP level 1 certification confirms detailed production control by a notified body.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Concealed fixing fastener giving facades a more uniform appearance
  • Large lock profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Double lock joining the panels ensuring high fire-tightness performance
  • Auxiliary groove easing positioning of the fixing fastener
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Continuous polyurethane sealant maintaining high thermal insulation. Applied during the production process
  • Aluminium foil preventing water vapour ingress into the polyurethane foam core
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties

Applications

  • External and internal walls — buildings with high thermal insulation requirements
  • Low-energy and passive buildings — skeleton construction with limited partition thickness
  • Facades of office, retail and administrative buildings — concealed fixing for an aesthetic facade with no visible fasteners

Technical note: insPIRe® U MAX is a wall panel with concealed fixing — it is not designed to maintain a temperature regime. For cold-store applications use the dedicated panels insPIRe® CH and insPIRe® CH MAX — they have a labyrinth joint that eliminates the thermal bridge, on-site applied sealant and PZH hygiene approval.
