MW S
Product description
MW S is a wall sandwich panel with a hard mineral wool core, available as standard at 80 mm thickness. Mineral wool as the core gives the panel fire reaction class A2-s1,d0 — a material virtually non-ignitable that neither sustains nor spreads fire. This is the key advantage over PIR-core panels in buildings with strict fire requirements. Fire resistance EI 60 (horizontal, 80 mm) allows use in fire separation zones. Acoustic insulation Rw = 31(-1;-3) dB complements the thermal properties. Coefficient λD = 0.044 W/(m·K) is typical for hard mineral wool.
Construction and features
- Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
- Large lock profile radius keeping the paint protective coating intact
- Double lock joining the panels ensuring high fire-tightness performance
- Hard mineral wool core with very good fire resistance and acoustic performance

Applications
- external and internal walls of industrial buildings
- buildings requiring class A2 fire reaction (non-combustible)
- poultry farms, cold stores, halls with fire requirements
Benefits for designers and contractors
- Class A2-s1,d0 — non-combustible — highest available class for building materials; wool neither sustains nor spreads fire
- EI 60 at 80 mm — confirmed fire resistance for use in fire zones
- Rw = 31 dB — additional acoustic insulation not achievable with PIR
- PZH hygiene certificate — hygienic safety, approval for use in applications with sanitary requirements
- Two module widths — 1000 and 1140 mm for design flexibility
- LEED & BREEAM Green Card — qualification for environmental certification
