Product description

izoGRASS® Insulation Panels are panels of pure PIR core without facing, produced by BOKKA at its own facility in Wola Batorska. Cut to size to order — door inserts, window-reveal strips, prefabrication elements.

PIR core lambda: λ_D = 0.027 W/(m·K) — high insulation efficiency at minimum thickness. Thicknesses from 0 to 220 mm, standard width 1150 mm, length 10–2350 mm to order. Width is also cut to size.

Applications

Door inserts

PIR inserts cut to size for door manufacturers. Doors (external, garage, technical, fire) used to be insulated with EPS — today the industry standard is PIR, because door construction does not allow thick insulation, and PIR at low thickness delivers a much better U-value than EPS or XPS.

• Entrance and external doors — a PIR insert improves the door U-value 1.5–2× vs EPS
• Sectional garage doors — PIR strips cut to fit inside the sections
• Technical and fire doors — PIR insert + steel facings = a light insulating assembly

Window reveal insulation

PIR strips cut to size at 20–30 mm thickness are used to insulate window reveals — they eliminate the thermal bridge around the window and improve the thermal performance of the whole partition without increasing the reveal dimension.

Prefabricates and within-structure insulation

• Building prefabricates — PIR inserts in modular panels, partition walls, frame elements
• Insulation within frame construction — between timber or steel sections (the bare core fits easily dry)
• In-house sandwich panel production — PIR core for laminating with your own facings (steel sheet, plywood, OSB)
• Elements for further processing — milling, bonding, laminating to customer needs
