Product characteristics — termPIR® AL GK

termPIR® AL GK is a composite insulation board combining a rigid PIR foam core with a factory-applied finish layer of 12.5 mm plasterboard. On the room side, the plasterboard provides a ready substrate for painting or tiling without a separate board installation — delivered as a complete partition element. The external side is protected by a gas-tight Al+paper facing. Designed primarily for internal wall insulation in buildings where external insulation is not possible.

Declared λD = 0.022 W/(m·K) (PIR core, excluding GK layer). Fire reaction class B-s1,d0 in end-use application (core 20–140 mm + GK).

Applications

  • Internal wall insulation — in listed buildings and wherever external insulation is not possible; adhesive or mechanical fixing
  • Partition walls with insulation — lightweight partition with built-in thermal insulation and a ready plasterboard surface
  • Suspended ceilings — installation in ceiling systems; GK as a ready substrate for painting
  • Pitched roofs under-rafter — insulation with a direct finish surface on the loft side
