termPIR® Pro-F
Product characteristics — termPIR® Pro-F
termPIR® Pro-F is an insulation board with a PIR core covered on both sides by gas-tight Al+paper+PE facing, designed with higher mechanical strength than standard termPIR® boards. Compressive strength σ10 = 140–150 kPa (vs. 120 kPa for termPIR® AL) makes Pro-F suitable for flat roofs with pedestrian traffic, loaded with roof-mounted equipment, or requiring FM Approval — mandatory for many industrial warehouse and logistics building insurers (Factory Mutual).
Available from 50 mm only (dedicated to flat roofs). Declared λD = 0.022 W/(m·K); classification REI 30 and Broof(t1).
Applications
- Industrial and logistics flat roofs — warehouses, distribution centres; FM Approval required by insurer; higher compressive strength for pedestrian traffic and roof-mounted plant loads
- Commercial and office flat roofs — office buildings, retail centres, commercial properties
- Flat roof slabs with roof-mounted equipment — photovoltaic systems, air conditioning — point loads require higher σ10
Benefits for designers and contractors
- FM Approval — required by many industrial insurers; absence of this certificate blocks the policy
- σ10 = 140–150 kPa vs. 120 kPa (AL) — 17–25% higher compressive strength at identical λ
- REI 30 + Broof(t1) — complete fire classification for industrial roofs
- DGNB Green Card — qualification in DGNB certification (Scandinavian and European markets)
- λ = 0.022 identical to AL — no thermal compromise when selecting Pro-F
- Range 50–220 mm — typical flat roof thicknesses; no unnecessary thin variants
- Gas-tight Al/PE facing — vapour barrier and PIR core protection
Certificates and approvals
