Product characteristics — termPIR® WS

termPIR® WS is an insulation board with a rigid PIR foam core, covered on both sides with a vapour-permeable glass-fibre tissue facing. Unlike variants with Al/PE facing — which are gas-tight — WS allows water vapour diffusion (µ = 90÷170), making it suitable for systems without a separate vapour barrier or where vapour permeability of the element is required. Thanks to a broad application range (roofs, walls, floors, prefabricated elements) it is one of the most versatile variants in the termPIR® range.

Declared λD = 0.027 W/(m·K) (d < 80 mm) / 0.026 W/(m·K) (80–120 mm) / 0.025 W/(m·K) (≥120 mm). In a trapezoidal sheet metal system, class B-s2,d0 and Broof(t1); fire resistance REI 30 for ≥120 mm.

  • Pitched roofs — over-rafter and under-rafter in single-family and multi-family construction
