Product characteristics — termPIR® ETX

termPIR® ETX is an insulation board with a PIR core covered on both sides with a vapour-permeable glass-fibre tissue facing, dedicated exclusively to external wall insulation systems ETICS (External Thermal Composite Insulation System, double-layer wall). The ETX facing — unlike Al/PE — allows water vapour diffusion (µ = 90÷170), preventing condensation in the wall assembly without a vapour barrier. The Compliance Certificate per ETAG 004 confirms approval for ETICS systems.

Declared λD = 0.027 W/(m·K) (d < 80 mm) / 0.026 W/(m·K) (80–120 mm) / 0.025 W/(m·K) (≥120 mm). In an ETICS system, class B-s1,d0 and classification NRO (non-fire-propagating).

Applications

  • External double-layer walls in ETICS system — adhesive + mechanical anchors or suspended system; staggered installation; min. 50 mm
  • Basement and foundation walls — insulation of the plinth zone and below-ground zone with vapour-permeable facing
