Product description

insPIRe® CH is a specialised cold storage sandwich panel with a polyisocyanurate (PIR) foam core, designed for walls and ceilings in temperature-controlled buildings — both cold stores (above 0°C) and freezers (below 0°C). The PIR core at λD = 0.022 W/(m·K) guarantees minimal heat transmission through the partition. The thickness range 100–200 mm covers a broad spectrum of insulation requirements for industrial refrigeration. The product holds a PZH hygiene certificate approving use in rooms with sanitary requirements (food contact). Fire reaction class B-s1,d0 with fire resistance EI 30 / EW 30 (all thicknesses) meets the requirements for industrial facilities.

Construction and features

  • Profiled steel facing gives walls an aesthetic appearance
  • Sealant applied on site
  • Large lock profile radius keeping the steel protective coating intact
  • Profiled edges facilitating installation and improving thermal insulation
  • Double lock joining the panels ensuring high fire-tightness performance
  • Labyrinth core joint eliminating thermal bridge
  • Rigid PIR foam core with very good thermal and fire properties

Applications

  • walls and ceilings of cold stores (temperature above 0°C)
  • walls and ceilings of freezers (temperature below 0°C)
  • temperature-controlled rooms in the food industry

Benefits for designers and contractors

  • λD 0.022 — best available for PIR — smaller thickness at the same thermal resistance vs. mineral wool
  • EI 30 / EW 30 across all thicknesses — confirmed fire resistance regardless of panel thickness
  • Two module widths — 1000 and 1140 mm — flexibility in panel layout design
  • PZH hygiene certificate — hygiene approval, key for food and pharmaceutical facilities
  • Factory PUS sealant — minimised thermal bridging at joints, critical for refrigeration
  • Range 100–200 mm — full refrigeration spectrum from fruit storage to ultra-low temperature chambers
