When to use this system
In a livestock facility, a partition wall is not a typical internal wall — animals or technological processes requiring high hygiene standards are present on both sides. A standard internal panel with 25 µm lacquer on one side + plain sheet on the other is not sufficient.
Choose this system when:
- Barn sections must be separated (lactating cows / dry cows / calves / young stock) — each section has its own washing requirements.
- Poultry house sections — different broiler age groups (1-21 days, 21-42 days) must be separated for veterinary reasons.
- Farm dairy — bulk tank room separated from the production zone.
- Slaughterhouse — absolute requirement for dirty section ↔ clean section separation (HACCP, veterinary regulations).
Double-sided configuration
insPIRe® S or U panel in custom configuration with special coating on both steel facings:
- Typically: the same coating on both sides (e.g. Granite® Farm + Granite® Farm).
- Mixed: possible but rare — e.g. INOX (dairy) + Granite® Farm (milk cooling room).
- Typical thicknesses: 60-100 mm (acoustic insulation more important than thermal — both sides are at service temperature).
Specific installation requirements
- Partition wall base — expansion joint from the concrete floor required (animal waste penetrates gaps). Use a PE base profile + neutral frost-resistant silicone sealant.
- Doors in the partition wall — always with EPDM perimeter seal + OB-01/OB-02 flashings in special coating (on both sides).
- Pressure washing — possible from both sides simultaneously (e.g. parallel section sanitation procedures), requires verification of sandwich panel joint tightness (PUS gasket factory-applied).
Order processing
Due to custom configuration (double-sided special coating), lead time is longer than standard:
- Granite® Farm / Granite® Farm — 5-7 weeks.
- Granite® HDX / Granite® HDX — 6-8 weeks.
- INOX / INOX — 8-12 weeks.
- Mixed configurations — lead time based on the longest-lead component.
