Junction function

GS MW U intermediate support = premium variant of the S/CH intermediate support (p. 34). The key difference: no OB-17 cover flashing — the fastener is hidden in the joint by means of PM1, nothing is visible on the facade.

The cleanest premium aesthetic — no breaks in the facade, perfect continuation of the smooth horizontal panel band.

Critical installation aspects

• No mineral wool at the contact area — the panel meets the column directly (thermal bridge minimal).
• PM1 + fastener anchor the panel to the intermediate column, within the joint.
• Fastener spacing every 60–80 cm along the column.
• Not recommended for halls with U <0.3 — the linear thermal bridge at the intermediate column gives ψ ≈ 0.05 W/m·K (acceptable for typical halls, problematic for passive buildings).
