Cold-store panel suspension — Variant I (T-profiles)

Junction function

Suspension variant I = polyester T-profiles. Vs standard threaded rods (p. 28):

• Polyester T-profile = low thermal conductivity (λ ≈ 0.3 W/m·K vs steel 50) → minimal thermal bridge.
• Steel hangers + Ø10 rod fixed to the T-profile.
• Flexible fixing — T-profile dampens structural vibrations.

Used for:

• Freezer rooms with ceiling evaporators — compressor vibrations require damping.
• Halls with non-ideal load-bearing structures — T-profile compensates for minor irregularities.

Critical installation aspects

• Polyester T-profiles suitable for freezer rooms — resistant to negative loads (ice) ±50 kN/m².
• Stainless steel hangers AISI 304/316.
• Stainless fasteners with EPDM gasket.
