Junction function

Cold storage door — horizontal section = side jambs. Complements drzwi-chlodnicze-pionowy (vertical section with head and sill).

Specific element: Ø10 threaded rod passing through the panel — carries the door’s dead load (typically 80–150 kg for a 1×2 m door); PVC insulating nuts (item 03) prevent thermal bridges.

Critical installation aspects

• Ø10 threaded rod passes through the full thickness of the panel — from the corridor side into the cold room.
• PVC insulating nuts are critical — without them the warm corridor transmits heat through the steel rod into the cold room → condensation on the cold side.
• PVC washer (item 04) between the nut and the panel facing.
• Closing flashing conceals the rod and provides sealing.
• Plastic sealant seals the door opening perimeter.
