Junction function
Corner at an angle ≠ 90° in horizontal layout = non-standard building geometry. Similarly to the vertical layout (p. 20), it requires a specially ordered angled OB-03 flashing.
Typical applications:
- Halls with irregular plan (adapting to the plot).
- Office annexes within halls (e.g. hall frontage at 135°).
- Halls with a curved façade broken down into trapezoidal segments.
Critical installation aspects
- Special order for OB-03 — the production angle must be accurately measured on site from the building shell; steel structure tolerance ±2° vs. design.
- Greater flashing width for acute angles (<90°) — typically 400-500 mm.
- Wind edge zone extended to 4 m for acute angles (increased suction).
- Mineral wool pushed into the corner with greater tolerance (max 20% compression).
- Check with the structural engineer — an acute angle increases wind suction loads in the corner; additional fasteners in the edge zone may be required.
