Junction function

Vertical insPIRe® S expansion joint = analogous to MiWo S/CH (p. 22). Required for buildings >60–80 m.

Critical installation aspects

  • Expansion flashing fixed on one side only — to the “fixed” side.
  • No rigid fasteners within a 50 cm zone from the expansion joint.
  • On-site insulation with mineral wool or PIR foam.
