Gate lintel in vertical layout with U concealed fixing — typical for car showrooms, premium warehouses, retail facilities with aesthetic aspirations. Panel fasteners invisible from the outside create a smooth, uniform façade around the gate opening.

Standard construction:

• Steel lintel beam (item 03) — IPE / HEB designed for gate weight.
• OB-20 conceals the lintel on the façade side.
• OB-21 conceals the side reveal.
• Roller box (item 11) built inside the structure above the opening.

Critical installation aspects

• Steel lintel beam designed by the structural engineer — 4×4 m gates → IPE 200, 5×5 m → IPE 240, 6×6 m → IPE 270 (indicative).
• insPIRe® U panels (item 01) cut around the gate opening while maintaining narrow strips ≥ 200 mm. Shorter strips will not retain the U joint — OB-21 flashing fixed to the beam is required.
• OB-20 lintel flashing fixed with washer-head fasteners (item 12) every 250-300 mm. Transverse joints sealed with butyl mastic. Fasteners are VISIBLE (around the gate opening) — a necessity, since flashings must be mechanically fixed.
• EPDM gate gasket (item 08) class BG3 — frost-resistant to -40°C, UV-resistant.
• PM1 washer (item 10) double density in the edge zone (30 cm from the opening).
• Roller box requires an access opening from the interior side (typically 600×400 mm inspection door).
