Junction function
Vertical insPIRe® S plinth = standard solution for typical halls with PIR (vs MW with mineral wool). Functionally identical to vertical MiWo S (p. 16 of the MiWo catalogue), but with a PIR core.
Variant I = overhang d=20-60 mm = standard.
Critical installation aspects
- PURS installation foam (item 08) beneath the panel — eliminates capillary moisture rise.
- PES tape (item 07) at the joint with the plinth profile.
- OB-13 projects 20-60 mm beyond the façade with a 30 mm drip edge.
- Neutral silicone (item 11) at sheet-metal joints.
- PIR vs MW — PIR is thinner at the same U-value → less space required, lower structural load.
