Variant II of the vertical plinth = variant I with greater overhang for more aggressive conditions. Identical principles, longer OB-13 drip flashing.
Critical installation aspects
- Extended OB-13 = stronger anchors to the sill beam.
- Drainage strip in the ground below the drip flashing.
- Wind load durability test after the first season.
