Junction function
Roof termination at fire wall = upper junction of the roof with the wall (on the raised-pitch side — top of the roof penetrates into the wall). Requires OB-30 roof flashing — extending 30 cm above the roofing + drip edge.
Critical installation aspects
- OB-30 extends 30 cm above the roofing (Technical Conditions § 235) for fire requirements.
- Mechanical anchors to the wall (item 12).
- Butyl compound + assembly foam seal the gaps.
