Eaves with gutter — Variant II — insPIRe® D sandwich panel

Junction function

Premium variant of eaves with gutter — with a separate OB-33 drip edge + OB-25 under-gutter channel instead of the compact OB-26 Z-flashing used in variant I. It provides:

• Cleaner visual line of the eaves — the OB-33 drip edge conceals the panel edge separately from the under-gutter profile.
• Greater adjustment precision — drip edge and channel height can be set independently.
• Standard panel — no factory edge trimming required (as in variant I), so shorter lead time.

Chosen for retail buildings, car showrooms, office buildings with exposed eaves.

Flashing functions

OB-27 snow barrier	prevents snow avalanches at the eaves

Critical installation aspects

• Installation sequence: roof panel → OB-25 channel (fixed to the panel from below) → OB-33 drip edge (fixed to OB-25 and the structure) → OB-27 barrier → OB-02 corner.
• OB-25 joints between running metres sealed with butyl sealant (item 15) — critical, since water flows along this profile.
• OB-33 drip edge fixed with washer-head fasteners (item 13) — head remains visible from below (aesthetics).
• PM1 washer (item 11) eliminates thermal bridges at panel fasteners — required for buildings with energy performance requirements.
• Gutter — sized to roof area (typically Ø150 for 100 m²); downpipes at max. 12 m spacing.
