External corner 90° — horizontal GS MW S/CH panel layout

Junction function

90° corner in horizontal layout = simplified version of the vertical corner (p. 19). In the horizontal arrangement:

• No internal OB-02 flashing — the hall interior has a flat wall with no additional flashing at the corner.
• Only external OB-03 conceals the joint of the two walls.
• Mineral wool fills the space at the corner column.

Fewer components = lower cost + faster installation. Acceptable for halls with no internal aesthetic requirements (typical warehouses, production halls).

Critical installation aspects

• External OB-03 fastened with rivets / self-drilling screws to sheet metal at 200 mm spacing; seal the joint with the panel using neutral silicone.
• Mineral wool (item 05) is critical for thermal bridge elimination at the corner column; class A1 for halls with fire requirements.
• Wind edge zone — fasteners densified within a 3 m band from the corner (analogous to the vertical layout).
• No internal OB-02 flashing — interior shows mineral wool in a 30-50 mm band around the corner; optionally cover with a custom decorative trim.
