Bottom fixing of vertical PIR panels directly to the concrete floor slab. OB-42 starter channel guides the bottom row, OB-05 trim finishes the interior side. Quick-install expansion anchors.

Junction function

Floor mounting = alternative to a base course with a sill beam. Used for interior halls or floor slabs raised >15 cm above ground level.

Critical installation aspects

  • OB-42 channel raised 30 mm above the floor (waterproofing).
  • Expansion anchors at 60 cm centres in the field zone, 40 cm at the edge zone.
  • No OB-13 drip flashing — only for interior halls inside a larger enclosure.
  • PIR vs MW — no mineral wool inside the channel (PIR is rigid and self-supporting).
