Junction function

Gate post in horizontal layout = analogous construction to the vertical version (p. 23). The differences:

• Horizontal panels meet the gate column on their shorter edge (typical 1 m module).
• OB-21 gate flashing identical to the vertical version.
• Mineral wool installed on site in the gap between panels and gate column.

Critical installation aspects

• OB-21 dedicated gate flashing — reinforced for forklift traffic.
• Mineral wool in the installation gap — eliminates thermal bridging at the gate column.
• Gate column anchors independent of typical hall columns; verify with structural calculations.
• EPDM seal between gate and OB-21 — critical for hall airtightness (especially in air-conditioned halls).
